I got this BC-610 a few days ago. I got first all the tubes and cables.
Two days later I got the rest. I dont understand what I got before I start the work with all the parts home.
I found this movie on the internet.
This film showed me how to build the transmitter of the parts I got.
Later I got the complete AN/GRC-26 book.
This is a 400 Watt CW, AM and RTTY amateur radio transmitter designed in 1938.
It was improved in 1942 for use in war. Watch the video.

I have here started testing the transmitter.
To the right we have BC614 microphone amplifier and O-39B/TRF-7 external oscillator.

My BC610 is operated at full power for the first time.
The anode of the 250TH is red.
Problems with the arcing in my antenna tuner because of the high power.
I have to either design a new antenna tuner or create a new antenna that requires a lower voltage.

Transmitter - oscillator, driver and PA.
Have here mounted the tubes and tests here oscillator and driver stage.
Oscillator 6V6, Dubler 6L6, Driver 2x 207 and PA 250TH
Have here started to assemble the parts.
At the top is the 400 watts audio amplifier .
Driver stage is 2x 2A3 in push-pull.
PA is 2x 100TH.

The BC-610 is very heavy, so I mount wheels on it.

I have also NOS tubes for the transmitter.
